When she is not practicing medicine, she reads, studies and investigates better-care practices in her field.

    Families have been the foundation of Dr. Pauline Lett-Anderson’s career. To care for their many needs, she has spent the first 6 years of her medical career as a primary care physician at family care centers in North Carolina and Kentucky. Dr. Lett-Anderson’s ministry work has given extra meaning to her calling. She has taken part in several health ministries and prison ministries over the years and does charity work for various organizations.   • Preetkanwal Grewal, MD

    Dr. Preetkanwal Grewal believes family comes first. And because she considers her patients as family members, they will always be top priority. "I treat all my patients as I would want my own relatives to be treated by their physicians—with integrity and compassion," she says.  Since childhood, caring deeply for others’ well-being has always been important to Dr. Grewal. After starting her medical career in family medicine, Dr. Grewal now specializes in geriatric medicine and nursing home care with JenCare. She is dedicated to providing affordable, holistic care to help her senior patients lead healthy, fulfilling lives. "My patients think of me as their partner in health. I work with them to help them achieve their goals. I'm here for them, even if it’s just to lend a listening ear." Dr. Grewal earned her medical degree from the American University of Antigua in Antigua and Barbuda, graduating cum laude. She then completed her residency in family medicine at MidMichigan Medical Center, as well as the University of Louisville Medical Center in Kentucky—where she also completed a fellowship in geriatric medicine. Dr. Grewal is a member of the American Geriatrics Society, the American Medical Directors Association, and the American College of Family Physicians. In addition to English, she is fluent in Hindi, Punjabi, and Urdu. When she's not caring for her patients at JenCare, Dr. Grewal likes to experience the great outdoors by hiking, kayaking and gardening. Above all, she loves spending time with her family. "My husband is very supportive and gives me strength. Motherhood has been a blessing, I love every moment of it, and my son’s smile brightens my day."

    MSN, APRN, FNP

    Dana Harris says she “became engrossed in the medical field” while working as a candy striper. Her favorite part of her profession is “forming close relationships with patients and families.” She strives to remain accessible and non-judgemental in her care. She enjoys working with the senior population and learning from their wisdom. “I can see the benefits derived from good care,” she says. She explains that her mother and “father-in-love” are living their lives to the fullest and “making the aging process look easy.” She vows to always treat patients with empathy and a smile. When not with patients, Dana Harris enjoys spending time with her family and watching romantic comedies. She is also strong in her Christian faith.

    Dr. Trevecca Shaw’s interest in healthcare began as a child. “I love helping to make people’s lives better, and I use healthcare as my means of giving,” he says. His favorite part of being a podiatrist is getting to know his patients and their families. He always approaches patient encounters with a listening ear and a non-judgmental mindset. “I absolutely love the senior population,” he says. To help patients improve their quality of life, he encourages them to stay active. He often converses with colleagues, attends seminars, and reads articles to stay up to date with the newest medical advancements. Dr. Shaw considers himself a foodie and a fitness enthusiast. He also enjoys traveling and has an extensive comic book collection.
