  When it comes to helping seniors stay on their feet and live independently, Dr. Devanshu Patel loves to educate. He’s a board-certified podiatrist with a passion for healing wounds and helping patients resolve pain due to foot injuries. “I want to help them be mobile,” says Dr. Patel. “I want them to remain active and enjoy a lifestyle that’s as free from further medical issues as possible. It’s a privilege to care for seniors, to develop trusting relationships with them, and change their lives for the better.”

  Tina Shenouda, MD

  According to Dr. Tina Shenouda, medicine is an extraordinary field, and she is passionate about what she does as a physician. “Medicine is in my DNA. Both my parents are physicians,” said Dr. Shenouda. “The care and respect they extended toward each person was instilled in me at a very young age. In my work, each JenCare patient—their lives, their health and their well-being—counts.” Dr. Shenouda is a general practitioner and specializes in HIV/AIDS and HCV. When she is not practicing medicine, she reads, studies and investigates better-care practices in her field.

  Pauline A. Lett-Anderson, MD

  Families have been the foundation of Dr. Pauline Lett-Anderson’s career. To care for their many needs, she has spent the first 6 years of her medical career as a primary care physician at family care centers in North Carolina and Kentucky. Dr. Lett-Anderson’s ministry work has given extra meaning to her calling. She has taken part in several health ministries and prison ministries over the years and does charity work for various organizations. Not surprisingly, when not working, she enjoys traveling and caring for her own family.

  No matter how simple or complex, patients trust Alice Gunnison to understand their specific needs and cover all the details of their care. "I've dedicated my career to providing the highest quality patient-centered care experience with efficiency and compassion," says Alice. "I put a lot of thought and care into it because it's what all patients deserve. I especially enjoy working in an environment, like JenCare, that puts emphasis on the needs of the patient."

  Preetkanwal Grewal, MD

  MD

  Dr. Preetkanwal Grewal believes family comes first. And because she considers her patients as family members, they will always be top priority. "I treat all my patients as I would want my own relatives to be treated by their physicians—with integrity and compassion," she says.  Since childhood, caring deeply for others’ well-being has always been important to Dr. Grewal. After starting her medical career in family medicine, Dr. Grewal now specializes in geriatric medicine and nursing home care with JenCare. She is dedicated to providing affordable, holistic care to help her senior patients lead healthy, fulfilling lives. "My patients think of me as their partner in health. I work with them to help them achieve their goals. I'm here for them, even if it’s just to lend a listening ear." Dr. Grewal earned her medical degree from the American University of Antigua in Antigua and Barbuda, graduating cum laude. She then completed her residency in family medicine at MidMichigan Medical Center, as well as the University of Louisville Medical Center in Kentucky—where she also completed a fellowship in geriatric medicine. Dr. Grewal is a member of the American Geriatrics Society, the American Medical Directors Association, and the American College of Family Physicians. In addition to English, she is fluent in Hindi, Punjabi, and Urdu. When she's not caring for her patients at JenCare, Dr. Grewal likes to experience the great outdoors by hiking, kayaking and gardening. Above all, she loves spending time with her family. "My husband is very supportive and gives me strength. Motherhood has been a blessing, I love every moment of it, and my son’s smile brightens my day."

  Josh Seo

  Dr. Josh Seo has loved learning about the human body since high school and was raised in a Christian family with a passion for serving others. This made it clear that his calling was to become a physician. Specializing in internal medicine, Dr. Seo says, “I love being here to serve seniors and see their health improve. I also truly enjoy taking the time to develop genuine relationships with them.” Previously, Dr. Seo worked in personal training, served in the Canadian Armed Forces Primary Reserves, and taught and served in other capacities. He spends his personal time with family, shooting photography, weight training, playing drums and video games, and visiting beautiful places like Arches National Park in Utah.

  Victoria Agbola

  APRN

  Victoria Agbola, a family nurse practitioner, prides herself in attentively listening to her patients. “I give them 100% undivided attention when with me at the clinic, and I let them know their opinion towards their care is important,” she says. Victoria Agbola was inspired by her grandmother, who, thanks to “love, care, and attention,” lived to be over one-hundred years old. She hopes to offer the same care and attention to her senior patients. “This is more than a profession for me. I believe I am called to make a difference in the lives of people,” she says. In her free time, Victoria Agbola loves spending time with her children, singing, and volunteering at church. She also enjoys watching Hallmark movies.

  Paula Minervino

  MSN, APRN

  A hospital stay as a child had a lasting impact on Paula Minervino, particularly the treatment she received from a nurse. She explains, “Her kindness stayed with me and drove me to want to be a nurse and help people at their most vulnerable times.” She loves getting to know patients on a personal level. “I think it is important to see people beyond their illness. My goal is to make them smile during their visit,” she says. She believes in “patient-focused” care. “I wanted to work in a place where patient care was a priority,” she says. In her free time, Paula Minervino loves spending time with her husband, son, and dogs. She also likes visiting tropical places and is obsessed with flip-flops. She will even wear them in the snow!

  Dana Harris

  MSN, APRN, FNP

  Dana Harris says she “became engrossed in the medical field” while working as a candy striper. Her favorite part of her profession is “forming close relationships with patients and families.” She strives to remain accessible and non-judgemental in her care. She enjoys working with the senior population and learning from their wisdom. “I can see the benefits derived from good care,” she says. She explains that her mother and “father-in-love” are living their lives to the fullest and “making the aging process look easy.” She vows to always treat patients with empathy and a smile. When not with patients, Dana Harris enjoys spending time with her family and watching romantic comedies. She is also strong in her Christian faith.

  Trevecca Shaw

  Dr. Trevecca Shaw’s interest in healthcare began as a child. “I love helping to make people’s lives better, and I use healthcare as my means of giving,” he says. His favorite part of being a podiatrist is getting to know his patients and their families. He always approaches patient encounters with a listening ear and a non-judgmental mindset. “I absolutely love the senior population,” he says. To help patients improve their quality of life, he encourages them to stay active. He often converses with colleagues, attends seminars, and reads articles to stay up to date with the newest medical advancements. Dr. Shaw considers himself a foodie and a fitness enthusiast. He also enjoys traveling and has an extensive comic book collection.
