Audubon Animal Medical Center is proud to serve the Louisville KY area for everything pet related. Audubon Animal Hospital has been caring for cherished pets in the Louisville area for more than 60 years. The original hospital was opened in 1959 on Crittenden Drive by Dr. James R.
Grace (known by his long-term clients as Dr. Bob). Dr. Bob grew up in the Schnitzelberg-area, attended St.
Xavier High School, University of Louisville, and University of Kentucky, and received his Veterinary degree from Auburn University. He wanted to work in the neighborhood he grew up in, and that is where the practice began.
