Matthew Feng, M.D.

Dr. Matthew Feng is a board-certified, cornea and refractive fellowship-trained LASIK and PRK surgeon who graduated magna cum laude from Harvard. He was a Dean’s Merit Scholar at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and co-chief resident at the University of Arizona. He completed additional fellowship training to specialize in the cornea, the part of the eye where LASIK and PRK are performed. Dr. Feng has spoken nationally and internationally on eye surgery. He has published peer-reviewed journal articles, textbook chapters, and award-winning surgical videos. He has received the U.S. Presidential Scholar Award, Gates Millennium Scholar Award, and American Academy of Ophthalmology Achievement Award. He was named One to Watch by MillennialEye magazine and a #SoMe (social media) editor for the premier journal in eye surgery, Ophthalmology. Before becoming an eye surgeon, Dr. Feng was a classically-trained concert pianist who played at Carnegie Hall three times. Now he enjoys applying that dexterity to the healing arts and is proud to have served professional athletes, elected officials, other doctors, and especially family.

Paul A. Frascella, D.O.

Dr. Paul A. Frascella is Board Certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Ophthalmology and Otorhinolaryngology, and has been in practice as a general Ophthalmologist since 1994. Dr. Frascella performed his first LASIK procedure in 1997 and had his own LASIK procedure in 1999 at LasikPlus. Dr. Frascella received his Bachelor’s Degree from Ursinus College and has a Master’s Degree in Biology from Villanova University. He went on to graduate from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey – New Jersey School of Osteopathic Medicine with his D.O. degree. He completed an internship at Atlantic City Medical Center and residency training in Ophthalmology at the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine – Grandview Hospital and Medical Center, Dayton, Ohio.

Mike Parsons, M.D.

Mike Parsons, M.D. has 10+ years experience as a United States Air Force Ophthalmologist, and has performed over 6,000 refractive procedures. He has treated at Lackland Air Force Base (San Antonio, TX) and Wright Patterson Air Force Base (Dayton, OH), and his “20/20 vision or better” outcomes have been consistently better than 95%! This has resulted in service members literally traveling from both around the country and around the world to have their treatments done with him. During his deployment to Afghanistan, Dr. Parsons performed over 50 traumatic/humanitarian eye surgeries and was a member of the President of the United States contingency surgical team for his 2014 visit.

Tim Morgan, O.D.

Dr. Morgan has been an optometrist for 20 years. He joined LasikPlus in 2002. After residency, Dr. Morgan was an Air Force optometrist where he provided eye care to elite fighter pilots including the Thunderbirds. He has lived in Louisville since 1994 where his practice focus was on ocular disease and specialty contact lens fitting as well as teaching ophthalmology residents at the University of Louisville. As an optometrist, Dr. Morgan enjoys the luxury of being able to spend time with each patient to guide them through the LASIK process. He appreciates the commitment of the highly trained staff to give our patients the best experience possible.
