Dr. Allen received his bachelor's degree from Centre College in Danville, Ky., and his medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He completed a fellowship in minimally invasive surgery at Royal Brisbane Hospital in Brisbane, Australia. Dr. Allen has been in practice for nine years and has performed more than 2, 000 surgical weight loss procedures.
