Josh Meier, M.D., is a board-certified orthopedic spine surgeon with Norton Children’s Leatherman Spine. He earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, then completed a general orthopedic surgery residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Meier completed a fellowship in pediatric orthopedic surgery and scoliosis at the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in Dallas. In addition to offering a full range of orthopedic services for children, Dr. Meier has special interests in scoliosis, trauma and limb deformities. His treatment approach includes promoting a kid-friendly medical environment and involving family members in their child’s care. Away from the office, Dr. Meier enjoys spending time with family, golfing and playing softball. He also participates in mission work, providing pediatric orthopedic care in countries such as Colombia, Ecuador and Haiti with international charities such as Healing the Children.
